We Have Back-up Power!

Due to the possibility of frequent power outages in West Virginia, RBS, Inc., has installed a 150 kW Cat® Generator for our Ready-Mix Concrete operation. When the power goes out due to summer overload or winter snows, we make our power to deliver your concrete. Ask if our competitors can do the same! Think of the problems of having a cold-joint in a large floor slab pour because you couldn't get concrete because of a commercial power outage!

READY MIX CONCRETE

Ready mix concrete is ordered by the cubic yard, (or cubic meter); and is specified to provide a certain strength in pounds per square inch (psi).

Concrete is available in different strengths, from 4 bags of cement per yard to 8 bags per yard.  The most common is either 5 or 6 bag mix.

Various concrete admixtures are available to assist your project. The include accelerator, retarder, super-plasticizer, synthetic fibers and steel fibers. We can also provide ice or hot water for the mix.

Concrete Calculator

The Concrete Calculators help you to estimate the concrete volume required for a pour or placement, the volume of concrete needed to fill a block wall, and the volume of concrete needed in a column.

Note that you can cut and paste values between the various construction calculators. For instance, you could take the result from the concrete volume calculator (which gives results in cubic yards) and plug it into the volume conversion calculator to convert your results to cubic meters.
